We have a wide selection of workshops to offer you in this category! Willow weaving is a mindful, relaxing craft that can be used to not only make practical pieces but to create beautiful sculptures large and small. We offer a selection of morning and afternoon workshops throughout the year.
Join us for a half-day or full-day, outdoor craft workshop and make a selection of plant supports including a Willow Obelisk, Peony Cloche, Cylindrical Support, or Trellis.
We have two Living Willow Workshops for you to choose from, weave your own Harlequin Tree or Willow Dome to take home and nurture for years to come! This is a seasonal workshop that runs from February to the beginning of April.
Join our Mini-Wattle Hurdle Workshop and learn the weaving technique used to create hurdles of all sizes! You can use either Hazel or Willow to make your 6ft long hurdle panel.
Join us for a full day or half-day Wood Craft Workshops, learn new skills and make heirlooms you can treasure! This workshop is suitable for private groups.
There is something about creating art using natural, tactile materials that makes you feel at one with nature! Experience the art of decoupage onto wood using dried flowers, petals and foliage gathered locally. This workshops is suitable for private groups.
A fantastic two-day course set in a coppice in Surrey. You will learn the traditional skill of coppicing and Hedgelaying using authentic tools, learning from an award-winning hedgelayer! This is a seasonal training course running from October through to March.
Enjoy the experience of learning a heritage skill! Learn the art of Coppicing and making traditional Hazel Wattle Hurdles. This two-day training course is set within a woodland coppice in Surrey Hills. This is a seasonal training course running from October through to April.
