You will have the choice of a 1 hr workshop so that you can make a Mini Obelisk suitable for a pot (we do this on a table top) or a 2.5 hr workshop to make both a mini Obelisk and a larger Obelisk (up to 7ft in height).
The workshop is suitable for adults and teenagers. You will be able to work independently or in pairs. You can also make your Obelisk on a table top if you have problems with your back or bending your knees.
We recommend you wear comfortable, outdoor clothing and footwear. You may also wish to bring a pair of gloves to protect your hands. You may also wish to bring something to kneel on and your own secateurs if you have them. However, don’t worry we will have some spare gloves and secateurs for you to use on the day if you don’t have your own.
We run both a morning and afternoon workshop:
Morning workshop: 9.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.
Afternoon Workshop: 1.30 p.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Afternoon Workshop (The Dene, Woldingham): 12.30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
We will start off with a brief introduction and an overview of what to expect from the workshop.
See our Wood Craft Workshop if you would like to attend a full day workshop to include additional crafts.
