We have a selection of Christmas Workshops to offer …

1. Willow Angel Workshop

Join Lorraine for a festive morning of music, mulled wine and mince pies and bring some rustic charm to your garden and home in time for Christmas. In this workshop, you will learn to weave a Willow Angel sculpture in the design of your choosing. Your finished Angel will stand between 2ft-3ft in height.

2. Willow Hearts Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn how to make a Willow Heart using a buff Willow that had it’s bark removed and is soaked prior to use. As with all our Christmas workshops, music, mulled wine and mince pies will be provided!

3. Willow Christmas Tree Workshop

Using the same technique we use to weave an Obelisk you will make an attractive tabletop Willow Christmas Tree to decorate your home. There are different weaves that can be used to create your own design, every tree is unique!

5. Christmas Wreath or Table Centre Piece

Learn how to make your own Hazel Wreath or Table Centrepiece and decorate with natural materials for Christmas!

Please note, for our Christmas wreaths, we can provide a ready-made Hazel Wreath base to decorate for those who may find it too difficult to make themselves on the day.

All-natural materials and Christmas ribbons, candles and other accessories required to make your craft of choice plus:

  • Mince Pie and Mulled Wine!
  • Tea and Coffee and soft drinks
  • Take home your completed craft

Where are the workshops being held?

Our Christmas workshops are held at Lloyd Hall, Outwood and the Lambing Barn, Priory Farm Estate. Both facilities have all modern conveniences including heating.

Suitability

The workshop is suitable for adults and children (if accompanied by an adult). You will be able to work independently or in pairs.

Please note, we aim to ensure our workshops are inclusive for all. For example, f you have arthritis in your hands or any other disability that may make it difficult for you to make crafts please do let us know and we will aim to find a way to make the workshop easier and enjoyable for you too.

What should I bring?

We recommend you bring a pair of secateurs and gloves. You may also bring your own Christmas ornaments to add to your craft if desirable.

Refund policy

You may request a full refund up to 7 days prior to the event start date.

Private workshops:

We can also arrange private group bookings (minimum 6 adults or 10 children over the age of 8 yrs). If you have any questions or wish to discuss your booking requirements and other potential dates for a workshop then please email Lorraine@hedgesandhurdles.com or telephone 07446837492

Hedges & Hurdles reserves the right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its reasonable control without being obliged to refund monies.

If the course is cancelled by the organiser for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible and will always endeavour to reschedule your booking for another date, however, if this is not possible a full refund will be provided.
