Join us for an outdoor craft workshop under the guidance of tutors Lorraine and Debbie plus additional, experienced tutors who join us when we have groups of 10 or more.
Our family-focused Woodcraft Workshops are held at “John’s Barn”, situated in a secluded picturesque location at Priory Farm, Sandy Lane, South Nutfield, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 4EJ.

We do offer additional hot and cold catering options for private groups, contact the organiser to discuss further and we will be pleased to provide you with sample menus and costs.
Thursday’s – commencing 27th February or if a private group on a date to suit.We can also arrange private group bookings (minimum 6 adults or 10 children over the age of 8 yrs). If you have a different date in mind please contact the organiser to discuss.
The workshop is suitable for all ages and can be adapted to suit all abilities. You will be able to work independently or in pairs. Children under the age of 10 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
All crafts use wood coppiced locally and you can select one or two of the following crafts to make during the day (more if you have the time):

> Hazel & Willow Wreath
> Woven Willow Fish & Bird Feeders
> Wooden Tea Light Holder
> Set of 6 wooden coasters
> Hazel & Willow Obelisk
> Pine Cone Ornaments
> Willow Weaving
> Walking sticks
> Spoon carving (groups of 10 or more only)
> Seasonal activities
> Other (be creative!)
What should I wear?We recommend you wear comfortable, outdoor clothing and layers to protect you from both the changing weather and dust etc. from tools you may use such as a drill or sander. Sensible footwear is required and you may also want to bring a pair of gloves to protect your hands if you have them, if not we will have some spare for you to use. We will also provide safety glasses and any other safety equipment that is needed.Time10.00 a.m. to 3 p.m. (half day workshops can also be arranged)We will start the day with a brief introduction to the course leaders Lorraine and Debbie and provide you with an overview of what to expect from the workshop.
> Adults: £65.00 per person
> Children: £45.00 per child (aged 10yrs to 15yrs old – under 10 yrs will need to be accompanied by a paying adult)

We require a minimum of 5 people to run a course. If the course is cancelled by the organiser for any reason we will contact you as soon as possible and will always endeavour to reschedule your booking for another date, however, if this is not possible a full refund will be provided.
